It is our hope that the community enjoys these sheets as they had Wordman’s original design. While I can take credit for the arduous task of updating the sheets, the layout and design creativity lies solely within the Wordman. As a rule, the document from start to finish follows the design ideas and layout concepts originally created by Wordman, including this cover page. A few pages are direct copies of his original design, while others are updated or completely redesigned to better fit the 4th edition ruleset. It is with Wordman’s permission that this document exists, and is available for distribution. Realizing that sheets of a suitable design were definitely needed, I took it upon myself to update the sheets to match up with the latest edition of the game. He had stated upon his own website, an intention to not update his original wonderful character sheet design to be compatible with 4th edition rules. It may not be the game some people wanted, but it is 100% the game I wanted.Shadowrun 4th Edition Character Sheets Release Version 1.2 Created by Jhaiisiin Original design and layout by Wordman First, the acknowledgement: These sheets are a conversion of a set done originally by a Shadowrun player and fan that went by the handle Wordman. Thank you, Jordan Weisman and everyone at HBS, for finally giving me the game I want. If one takes the time to read, the characters are so amazingly fleshed out, and I love that. And frankly, as far as I am concerned, Shadowrun Returns captures 100% of the spirit of the SNES game and the Genesis game, while lightly integrating the tabletop homage with customizable character sheets and a substantial dose of point-and-click adventure game, plus heavy dialogues, to really make me feel like I'm "roleplaying" in the story. I have wanted this series to get another video game more than any other franchise I enjoyed growing up. I have been waiting, waiting, waiting for another Shadowrun computer game all these years. I have an ongoing tabletop game I've been running since 1999, and when Fourth Edition came out I even had the opportunity to write for the franchise while it was licensed to Fanpro. From there, I got into MUSHes (even staffed on Shadowrun MUSH and Shadowrun: Denver and Shadowrun: Germany back in the day). After that, I played the Genesis game and then I picked up a second edition rulebook, which introduced me to tabletop roleplaying. I'm 32 and my first introduction to SR was the SNES game.
